San Jose market

In downtown San Jose Wednesday afternoon, we hit the streets to observe the local culture.  The statue in the square must have some significance for Costa Ricans, but it was lost on us.  We just thought it was quite funny.  The market was a bustling place.  It was an entire city block under one single story roof with maybe a hundred different vendors.  The pigeons in the square by the hotel were quite fond of us.  Victoria got an interesting opportunity in the square to learn about haggling!
